Through the effective implementation by the Department of Social Services and Child Protection, this initiative successfully provided school uniforms to children of economically disadvantaged families in the southern province. In the year 2023 alone, this program facilitated the provision of 440 sets of school uniforms across 50 schools in the district of Dikwella, ensuring that children have the necessary attire to attend school.
