The Southern Provincial Department of Social Welfare, Probation and Child Care has been awarded first place for the best annual report and financial report among all provincial council institutions in the country. At the "BARA Award 2024" awards ceremony organized annually by the Sri Lanka Association of Public Finance Accountants, for the year 2024, Our department was able to win the gold award for the best annual report and accounts report among provincial council departments and first place for the best annual report and accounts report among all provincial councils in the country.
