H.S.C.V Children's Village was established on 20.04.2008. The girls' children's home was opened with 20 girls, four managers, drivers and attendants. The institute is founded and run under the guidance of Rev. Kegalle Ratanasara Nayaka Thero of Veherahena Poorvarama Vihara and the original sponsorship has been provided by the Bush Italia NGO. Funds are provided by a non-governmental organization of the Italian state.

Care facilities have been provided for 20 girls. The age limit for staying is between 6 and 18 years. Provides school education, Dhamma school education. Facilities for computer education and sewing courses. There is also a bus for transportation. Children are taken to school by bus. Through a security company, security personnel have been dispatched. There is a female security guard during the day and a security guard at night. Water, electricity and sanitation facilities. Additional classes for children are held in the institute. There are also facilities with a playground for children to play.
